Need USBDeviceConfiguration File ~ iPhone 2G not recognised by windows.
Hi guys! i hope that there is not another thread on this..
Anyways straight to the point. I have a iPhone 2G here running 3.1.2, and its all working fine...EXCEPT it will not connect to my computer. Once plugged in, windows displays a lovely message saying that the device has malfunctioned etc etc...its not being recognised. I have SSH installed on this phone, and i believe the file that is responsible for this rather large issue (no usb connection= no itunes, no sync, NO RESTORE D: ) is 'USBDeviceConfiguration'.
This is located at '/root/System/Library/SystemConfiguration/USBDeviceConfiguration.bundle'
I currently do not have another working 2G available to me unfortunatly, and that is why i am asking, can anybody help me with this issue, and also make a copy of their 'USBDeviceConfiguration' file and host it somewhere? if you could that would be an amazing help!
Thanks guys!

Unless what you are asking for is purely a few XML based plists, then we cannot allow such requests here.
Any binary files that are part of the shipping iOS are copyright Apple. Redistribution of these without Apple's explicit permission is illegal (and considered warez).
Your best option is to download the appropriate IPSW from Apple http://www.hackint0sh.org/f127/22056.htm and then proceed to extract and decrypt the rootfs from the IPSW. You only need a build of the xpwn binaries XPwn - The iPhone Wiki and the appropriate decryption keys from here: Firmware - The iPhone Wiki - I have documented in other threads how to decrypt and extract files from the restore/upgrade ramdisks. The principle is quite similar for the rootfs DMG but the encryption is different so you need to use vfdecrypt VFDecrypt - The iPhone Wiki
We don't allow requests for copyrighted files on this forum.
