My Sim isnt supported why?

I have a Iphone 2G i jailbroke it to have 3.0 but when i do it shows the connect it to itunes logo. When i do connect it to itunes it says that my sim card isnt supported. I live in canada and im with rogers how do i fix this ?

I've used blackra1n and it doesnt work it gets me back to the same logo. The only other way i could think of is to downgrade it and i cant do that because i have the most recent itunes.

Please help me

What OS was it running before you restored? Try pwnagetool custom ipsw with activation ticked.

I'm a windows user,and it was at jailbreak 2.2.1 i think, then i updated it to 3.0 then this problem came up when i connected it to itunes.I used winpwn and when i tried to make a custom ipws it always gets to the very end of creating it and then it just disapears

Winpwn and quickpwn do not work for OS 3.0

On OS 3.0 you can only use blackra1n (for OS 3.1.x) redsn0w (for OS 3.0.x) or get a pre-made custom ipsw created with pwnagetool on a mac. You can restore this on windows if your iPhone has been jailbroken before and you have not restored to an official apple IPSW afterwards.

Yeah i used redsn0w to jailbreak it to 3.0. Is there a program i could use to get it back to a previous OS if so could you please give me a link also?

Yes you can go backwards to 2.x and 1.x using iTunes

You may need to either jailbreak using quickpwn or use a tool like iPHUC or iRecovery to get the iPhone out of recovery mode after the downgrade but it will work, you can downgrade all the way back to OS 1.0.2 if you really want.
