I updated my iPhone and jailbroke it to 3.01. Everything was okay except the iPod app kept crashing, and iTunes didn't recognize my iPhone anymore. So I decided to reset all settings and erase everything. It took two and a half hours, but when I tried to turn it on, it didn't work; it got stuck on the Apple loading screen with the little loading sign. What should I do?

i juss got an iphone 2g 16gig. i bought it from ebay for cheap price. the seller said he tried to update 3.0 and it was ok but after some days it stucked into apple logo with the little loading sign. i tried all methods to get into dfu mode . neither it recognized by itunes nor it goes into recovery mode.. sometimes it shows usb cable and itunes sign on the screen. .. pls anyone help me to make it funktional
