i just jailbroke my iphone 2g to the 3.1.2 firmware. I then downloaded the native app so i can recieve mms but its not working. In the instructions it says go to general then network then cellular data network but my only option when i get to the network tab is data roaming, vpn, and wi-fi. Idk what to do. Any suggestions?

Why cant i find activatemms2g on cydia? I have ispazio too?

activatemms2g was only for OS 3.0

You probably need to edit your carrier bundle to get the MMS options.

I had the same problem you had when I first got tmobile was told I could get MMS. Here's how to solve it.

First, activatemms2g doesn't exist anymore. "Native mms 2g" won't help either. Here's how to make it work.

1. Add a new repo "sinfuliphonerepo.com"
2. Within this source, look for 'Enable mms on 2g 3.1.2"
3. Download this package.
4. It'll ask to reboot Device. Do so.
5. After rebooting your device, tap yourself to settings--general--network--cellular data network--Go all the way down, and tap RESET SETTINGS

The key is to get this package on a 2g iphone.

I did this but when i hit reset it says unable to connect to network

i hit reset and alot more information showed up but it still wont send a picture, it gets about half way and then get the little red ! mark

Are you using tmobile? Which version of the iPhone are you using?

If it's indeed tmobile, and your'e using the iphone 2g, which is what I have, make sure the APN for both Cellular data and MMS are the SAME!! It won't work if it differs.

i dont know much of 3.0 anymore so you can upgrade to 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 there is MMS availble for both.

add this to cydia's sources

and install mms for 3.1.2
or mms for 3.1.3

was this ever solved i need to know because I need help with this
