Hello all! Reading many pages I couldn't find an answer to this question... I have an iPhone official carrier (Movistar - Venezuela) and I upgraded to 3.1 (it was an accident, selected the wrong file) and of course i can't go back to 3.0.1 since it upgrades your baseband... As I have read, it can't be unlocked but I haven't found anything about jailbreaking since I don't need to unlock... Is there a way just to jailbreak without unlocking? or do I have to wait a few days/weeks for the tool to become available?

no bro you have to wait for 3.1 jailbreak(no estoy seguro si puedes hacer el downgrade al 3.0.1, aunque el baseband sea nuevo puedes cambiar el firmware y hacer el jailbreak inenta a ver que tal y avisas

Well.. i tried downgrading with itunes 9 and no problem, as expected got the error 1015 and proceeded with redsn0w but froze in a part... restored to 3.1 and all was ok... tomorrow I'll try downgrading in itunes 8.2 in windows XP (i have vista) and going through redsn0w as I read somewhere else... by the way 3.1 rocks... but man it really drains my batt...

what improvements did you see in 3.1?
