Iphone died while charging overseas. No Power or charge from PC or Wall. Want Pics bk
My Iphone 3GS 32GB died on me. I charged overseas and next morning was dead.
It doesnt charge, power on, no lights, no sync, Nothing. Tried plugging it to laptop or wall socket Nada!!
Now, I just want to retrieve my trip pictures, Notes and most recent data.
How can i get my data and pics back? when the phone is completely dead.
What can i replace or what can i pull out? so I can do rescue or do a final sync of my data?
Logic board, comm board or battery?
It looks like the 32GB of storage is on the system board. Its all in one piece.

Without knowing what is causing it to not start, I can't really help to much.
It could be battery, in which case it would be quick fix, but it could be logic board, which would be a nightmare, etc. I would suggest taking it to a repair shop so they can properly diagnose. If the main logic board is bad, you'd have to dismount the storage and replace onto a new logic board in order to retrieve the photos.
None of this was synced to iCloud or anywhere else?
