Hello , I'm having problems with my iphone 2G . It only seems to be working with my Sim card and does not detect any other simcards. Is there a way to sort this as i gave the phone to my sister and shes driving me nuts due to it not working.

Some information which might be helpfull :

1 ) Its a american iphone 2G

2 ) I'm in the UK on orange with a 2G simcard which works. My sister is on
Orange but her simcard is 3G. This does not work

3 ) It is jailbroken and unlocked with redsn0w.

4 ) running 3.1.3

Some help would be massively appreciated and sorry if its in the wrong place but there are so many subforums i don't know where to place it.

It's possible that the Orange SIM card doesn't support 2G at all. Ask for a SIM card that supports a 2G phone.
