hey guys ...i stay in india and am a total iphone noob...my iphone is stuck at connect to itunes screen and wont unlock....plz suggest what to do...thanx.

You need to search, your issue has been solved many times and the answers are in old threads here at hackint0sh.org

What you need to do is try and identify which iOS version your phone is currently running. TinyUmbrella will tell you this (even when your iPhone is stuck at the "slide for emergency call" screen)

If you not at the "slide for emergency" screen, then your iPhone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored.

iTunes will detect this and only offer the "restore" option.

There are plenty of threads explaining how to restore and jailbreak/unlock the iPhone 2G on iOS 3.1.x - search. If you still have questions, post in a thread that has some relation to the stage where you are stuck at.
