I'm really tired of "greyed out wifi" how to fix it my friends?

Hi guys..

I have iPhone 3G, 16GB, 3.1.2, 5.11.

I really search too much using google for my issue, I have wifi greyed out.
Place what can I do? Anyone can help?

Any solutions? I did many restores + resets.

I don't know! But I have the feeling that I might get the solution in here! "i hope so"

Do you use blacksn0w for unlock?

This is for 3GS, and I have 3G!
Also, in the topic I need to upgrade to 3.1.3 which I can't since it can't be unlocked!

You can still use blacksn0w RC2. It works on both OS 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 with baseband 05.11.07

You are right - a straight upgrade or restore to 3.1.3 will remove unlock because the baseband is upgraded to 05.12.01. However a "safe" restore to OS 3.1.3 via pwnagetool custom ipsw will keep the baseband at the same version it was before the "safe" restore. In your case this will be 05.11.07

RC2 has two fixes - one is to reduce the chance of wifi disabled. It also fixes a bug that prevented blacksn0w working on 3.1.3 with the 05.11.07 baseband.

There can be other reasons for grey wifi (hardware)

I did what was written in the link you gave me, no benefit.

I call "Apple store" in my country and I asked about the cost to change the wifi, it was hell!
They asked for $341.810
Come on! I'm really disappointed.
