How fast is your GPS to fix position

On the 2.2.1 firmware, my g3 was slow to find a position (GPS fix ) - often there was no fix. The 3.0 gives me a position in 3-5 seconds, although it may be totally wrong on the (location). But i seems faster for now

yeh, my g3 was slow as hell too, but the g5 went on a lot faster.

My GPS fix wasn't that bad before but is is very quick now

Mine is definitely faster in 3.0B2 than it was in 2.2.1. It used to take 15-20 seconds to pinpoint, and the first 5-10 were cell triangulation. Now it's about 3-5 seconds to pinpoint, and I don't ever see the cell triangulation.
