General Notes on iPhone 3G 3.0GM (Golden Master)

I upgraded from 3.0 Beta 5 to 3.0 Golden Master last night, and everything's working great - a little bit faster, even.

Tethering (bluetooth and USB) still works
MMS is carrier-specific and I can use MMS on O2
Spotlight is painless
It seems that only a minority of 2.2.1 apps don't work on 3.0. I've had no problems

I noticed that when I search for certain terms in Spotlight, it brings up results from emails that were previously deleted, prior to up grading from 2.2.1 to 3.0 GM. If you select a search result, it takes you straight to the Mail app where the email is no longer there. The Mail app finally times out and drops you back into the home screen. This could be a bug or may be due to the fact that I did an update and not a full restore when upgrading.

Also, the loading of the App Store seems to lag a bit when launched. Anyone else experiencing the same? I may try to do a full restore to see if it clears any of these things up.

I'm afraid I can't test that mail issue as all my mails are archived instead of deleted. Who is your mail with?

The app store lag is pretty common, and I experience it too. It would take maybe 5 seconds to get all of the data.

I've uploaded from 2.2 to the 3GM version, and I haven't experienced that mail issue.
