Hi i wanted to post this because i have a factory unlocked iphone 3g and push notifications are not working for me, so this problem is not only affecting hacktivated iphones but also officialy activated iphones, so this means that the problem has nothing to do with ultrasn0w (as im factory unlocked by apple i didnt use it) but i do have jailbroken my iphone with redsn0w so the problem might have something to do with redsn0w nor ultrasn0w!!!!

I can not copy this. I do have two factory unlocked iPhones 3G, used PwnageTool 3 on one and redsnow 0.72 on the other. Both with a non Apple partner carrier, both receiving push notifications (AP mobile, AIM, Mobile Me)

My push has been working fine on my factory unlocked phone.

I also can't sign this. I am on T-Mobile Germany (official carrier) also Jailbroken with redsn0w and receiving PNs just fine. Just tested with Beejive IM over night, worked fine.

I thought this only applies to hacktivated 2G iPhones. But I can't confirm this eiter, PNs also working fine for me on one of those.

Maybe you hacktivated them? Restore and connect to iTunes first so you can use the phone, then try notifications and if it works Jailbreak and try again.

Why? Pushnotifications are working fine for me EVEN on a hacktivated 2G iPhone. No need to do something

The "Push Notifications" are working fine, while the option in Settings.app is missing. Happening on a factory unlocked iPhone which was activated by iTunes before redsn0w did it's job.
I guess thats what's meant..
