What if I can take all the JB stuff off, brinf it to them, show it to them that it does not work, and all baseband, and all mac addresses are gone, say that the phone got stock, I reset it, and got this now?! You think it would fly? Instead of trying to fix it? I have Cydia and Icy on the Springboard right now. I can go to Icy and delet all JB stuff, or I can't?
I don't think you should do such type of job. Try to fix your problem first. Rejailbrek it and see what happen. If you bring it to store & if they can guess has been jailbroken they will not replace it.

I had the same errors trying to use 8.x itunes.
You should find having itunes 7.7 installed when you downgrade stop the errors

yea. I downgrade itunes to 7.5, downloaded 1.1.4 FW. DFU, Shift restore, it did not give me the 24 or 1660 error any more, it actually did some progress, it got passed that point, and I got a black background with white apple logo and flower on the bottom of the iphone screen spinning like it is in progress, then itunes actually said restoring iphone, then it changed to restoring firware on the iphone!! I am getting closer to something. This was last night, then I read this old sticky "1011 error fix (work in progress)" downloaded Mobile Terminal, iLiberty+, iPlus, iBrickr, and Total Commander. I launched iLiberty and try to follow the steps but got stock on not able to activate, downgrade, unlock, and JB, it said to first Boot something. Anyway, i reset the iphone while it was doing the Root Menu something, iphone started with bunch of codes running down the screen and before I reset it, I had a screen with itunes logo and a USB narrow head cable on iphone screen, and a pop up messege the iphone needs repair. So after that code on the screen, I went to sleep, Today I did the same thing, and the whole process took like 25 minutes while I had iLiberty launched and was watching the process on the bottom of iliberty as it said it was restoring iphone in DFU mode!! iTunes at this time was still on the restoring firmware, then iliberty said it finished the restore and it was in Recovery mode, iphone had that same logo with itunes and usb cable and same pop up, while itunes did not give me any error and still said that it is restoring firmware. I used iliberty and pressed on jump out of recovery mode, it did successfully and on iliberty on the bottom it said normal mode ready, as itunes now had a messege to put a valid sim card in iphone!! Same as before I lost baseband and all those general settings and restored it 20 times to 3.0 before JB with redsn0w. As per that thread now I will run iliberty and select JB, Downgrade bootloader, activate clcik go for it! to follow

itunes is still in the mode of restoring firware!! eventhough it already said it is not seeing a valid SIM!! iliberty gave me an error communicating with iphone and said to make sure it is paired with itunes and it is in normal mode. Itunes sees iphone on the left side of the screen but still in progress restoring firware, iliberty sais it is ready on the bottom and it is in normal mode?! Hmmm.. I am following the steps correctly.. NOw what?! Also on iphone when I slide the slider I get the keypad like you get when you do not have the sim or the proper sim, asking for the code or dial emergency.. I click on info on the iphone it says IMEI: Uknown, ICCID:Uknown with POP UP Repair needed..

So your saying you managed to downgrade to 1.1.4 & from there tried restoring back to 3.x again?

well as I stated below, I did not get any errors in itunes like error 9 or 23.. But iphone now is in emergency call only mode and when I click on info on the iphone it says IMEI: Uknown, ICCID:Uknown with POP UP Repair needed.. so I still do not have my baseband restored.. I wanted to follow these steps here:
1) Get DFU mode by plugging into iTunes, holding Power and Home buttons down. After 7 seconds the screen will switch off. Keep holding until 10 seconds then let go of Power button but keep holding Home. After another 10/15 seconds the screen will still be off but iTunes will find an iPhone in Restore mode. You can now just go ahead and click the Restore button. (NB if you're reading this when 1.1.4 has been superseded then I suggest you get the 1.1.4 restore file and force iTunes to restore from that, since we know 1.1.4 is unlockable.)
2) Use your favourite method to bash out of Restore mode. iBrickr might do it. I use iphone-tools or iPlus. Independence on Mac can do it. Hell, even ZiPhone 2.6 has a button to boot in Normal mode.
3) You need to jailbreak and activate so that you get the BSD Subsystem and Mobile Terminal. I think I used iPlus. (Don't use the -U option - trying to unlock will put you back at square one).
4) All the files you need are here: http://stuff.uselessblather.com/tools46.zip. There are various options for transferring files over USB to the iPhone. I used a Total Commander plugin which worked great:
Get a Total Commander trial version here: Total Commander - Download
Get the T-pot plugin here: http://t-pot.googlecode.com/files/T-PoT.1.1.zip (There's at least one other such plugin but this one worked for me.)
If you open the zip file with Total Commander it will recognise that it has a plugin and install it for you. Nice. Now you'll find your iPhone is accessible under Network Neighbourhood / T-Pot and you can make a new folder (e.g. in /usr/bin) and put the files there.
Other ways to send files over USB include "iPhone PC Suite" for windows and iphonedisk for OS X.
5) Mobile Terminal next. (Login password for root is alpine). Because the baseband is hosed you'll find input very slow and laggy. This gets better when you sucessfully kill CommCenter, which you need to do anyway for the erase. "launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist". This just wasn't doing it for me so I rebooted and used the more persistent version: "launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist". The -w option will kill CommCenter on the next boot. Don't worry about that because you'll be restoring soon. Now you can type properly, set the permission on ienew by changing to the folder it's in (e.g. /usr/bin/unscrew or whatever) and entering "chmod +x ienew". You should get the following:
But I am having problems with finding iphone with Total Commander, Mobile Terminal has be access through iphone after you put it on the iphone via usb, and iplaus gives me error when I launch it?! So what is my next step?!

when I ran iliberty in normal ready mode with itunes in the background, after itunes said put a valid SIM in iphone, i get this error:

when I reset the phone, and it turn on now I get these screens:

Looks like from your pictures that you're now on 1.1.4 firmware but just stuck on the activation screen, if you are I would think about updating itunes to 8.x again & trying a "DFU" restore with 3.0.1 firmware.
I'm thinking that because you're now on 1.1.4 that had the older 04.04.05 BB & that 3.0.1 has the later 04.05.04 BB that DFU restoring with itunes may re flash the 04.05.04 BB on the phone.
I don't know it will work for sure but its worth a try,, just remember to DFU restore to 3.0.1 "don't update"

This thread has all the links you need
http://www.hackint0sh.org/f127/22056.htm
But like a say I'm not saying a DFU restoring from 1.1.4 to 3.0.1 will work but it worth trying.
fingers crossed

I agree with speedy, give it a shot and lets keep our fingers crossed.
You always posted here plus sent me the same post as a pm, please dont. We try to follow the problem here in the forum. Plus I got lost somewhere in between your description where your iPhone is at.
as speedy said, looks like you are at 1.1.4, maybe a DFU restore to 3.0.1 will bring back baseband, but...
