Cant Upgrade iphone 2g to 3.0!!!

hi Everyone!!
I have iphone 2g 8gb serial:88814NT####

PROBLEM: error 23 while restore/update in all MODE: DFU,NORMAL,RESTORE.

PREVIOUS PROBLEM:
error 1011 but could restore the phone and winpwn. with no IMEI, BLUETOOTH, WIFI grayed i think some of u are familiar with this,
anyways could not make call but was alive like an ipod.

Now I want to upgrade to 3.0 with some hope of getting my phone somehow repaired or like an ipod even if 3.0 cant fix error 1011.
What I am trying to say is please help me upgrade/restore to 3.0
I am so much curious to have it in my phone!!

Eventhough the problem with baseband(error 1011) cant be solved but I think I should have been able to atleast restore/update with itunes.
But restore/update does not even start and after preparing device..
iphone enters DFU by default and stops everything with error 23 where as I think the iphone screen should get pink and the remaining process should go further and restore software....but doesnt work.

It doesnt even start hangs while preparing device with this error 23.

You're sure you're into DFU mode ? or you are in restore mode ? (usb cable show on screen).

On other forums, someone said that has resolved the "error 23" problem, using the 2.2.1 firmware after correctly entering dfu mode (black screen).

try pressing the BIG CHAT ON IRC button at the top of this page, log in, and hit /join #iphone and ask for help there. The guys all a bit edgy most of the time, but they are certainly the most brilliant of iphone ppl I know. Also, on /join #hackint0sh there is a dude by the nick of demon5 who is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN IPHONE STUFF, HE USED TO WORK FOR APPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he helped me, and, I have yet failed to donate 10 bucks to his paypal account due to (guess...) money problems.....................

I am sure i am in DFU mode like u said there is no problem for me to get into DFU mode manually or with help of pwn tools. you r correct I am in blank black screen just after that when the restore begins itunes also by itself sets the device into DFU mode i guess and then the screen turns white blank automatically and gives me error 23!!
