Yes thats correct. u will not be able to unlock your iphone with 5.11.07 atm, and maybe forever after.

so dev team will not release software to unlock this? are you also saying anyone who recently got a new 3G or 3GS from apple with factory baseband of 05.11.07 will not be unable to unlock, period??

in other words, all the new iPhone 3G and 3GS from apple that have 05.11.07 are pretty much useless too?

What it means is that after serious searching by some of the brightest hackers, they have not found a hole that can be used to inject the ultrasn0w unlock into the 5.11.07 baseband.

Apple has closed all known holes, plus they reduced the chance of now holes being found by doing a spring clean on the baseband and removing parts that were unused.

thank you for the clarification. apple has really tightened up everything. i guess for those of us who have unlocked with FM 3.0 baseband 04.26.08, we are ahead of the game.
