A friend of mine has asked me to help fix his iPhone 3G.

I know he has firmware 3.1.3. Had Cydia installed and tried to unlock his iPhone with Blackra1n.

I'm sure the mistake came in that misstep of his.

It's now stuck in an infinite boot loop. iTunes will not recognize the iPhone, so I haven't been able to do much.

I've looked pretty much every place that is feasibly available through google search and have come up with nothing.

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

To be pedantic, it is blacksn0w that causes the bootloop not blackra1n.

The 3G has more options - you don't have to worry about SHSH.
