Not that we should not discuss but if you are really concerned about status of a BETA product, you're better reporting over Apple support/discussions forums, not over hackint0sh. Other than that, feel free to let world+dog know about it, and let us know your findings if apparently no one has any so far.
Did I mentioned about BETA status?

My experiences with the iPhone 3.0 Beta's battery life:
Initial update to 3.0 B1 with a restored backup of my 2.2.1:
Battery life was terrible -- between 45 and 60 minutes of usage and between 6-9 hours of standby before it was shutting down (from a full charge).
Re-restored 3.0B1 and set up as a new iPhone:
Battery life was fine for 3 days (I thought it was fixed!) -- then I realized I hadn't entered any of the passwords for my e-mail. Once I did that, battery life was just as terrible as before.
Restored back to 2.2.1 and waited for 3.0 B2.
Restored to 3.0 B2 (directly from 2.2.1) and set iPhone up as a restored backup of my 2.2.1:
Battery life seems absolutely fine, 2-3 hours of use and 18-20 hours of standby... Charge it once a day and it never runs out. (No, YouTube doesn't work. In case you were wondering. But that's a different thread.)
Don't know if it's a coincidence that my battery elected to start sucking when I told 3.0B1 all of my e-mail passwords again, I do have it set to check 5 different IMAP accounts... But 3.0 B2 set up as a restore from my old one seems to be working much better in this regard. At least on par with 2.2.1 (if not slightly better, frankly, but that's more likely changes in my own usage patterns and may not be anything to do with the firmware...)

Man..... I bet Apple would be PISSED right now if guys are actually reporting bugs in beta software to their website.

??? hquest had a pretty solid point... It's one thing to post onto a forum for the purposes of letting other people know about this information, but if you want real resolution to the problem, log in to Apple's developer forums with the account you undoubtedly have for being a developer, and post the bug reports to them there -- I doubt Apple comes to hackint0sh to check for bug reports to their developer only, beta software.

For bug reports, you are probably right n1ckn4m3...
For general check-in on the state of everything, I would expect that there are a few Apple employees who find themselves roaming around.

I found that the cause of all the battery problems I have on beta 1 and 2 are Location Services. Any application that uses Core Location drains the battery since it does not release the GPS after use in 3.0... that also may be why some of your phones get hot... If you turn off location services then reboot the battery should last as long as 2.2.1 does.

Odd -- mine is not exhibiting this behavior. Running 3.0B2, directly shift-restored from 2.2.1, and set up as a backup of my previously used iPhone. Battery life is fine, location services work A-ok. If I open Google Maps and let it find my position, then close Google Maps, I get the same battery life as when I don't, and the battery life has been good to me on 3.0B2... My problems were on 3.0B1 after setting the phone up as a new iPhone. Any other tests you can think of I could do to try and duplicate?

I've only been doing restores without restoring from a backup when it completed. I found that turning off the location services with 3.0b2 helped a lot. With beta3 it hasn't helped, and while the interface is much faster, the battery drain is back. Getting about 5-6 hours of standby.
