3.0 messed up Wifi -> Downgrade to 1.1.4/erase baseband
Hi,
Had my phone on 1.1.1 unlocked a long time, until 3.0 was released and did an upgrade/unlock. Everything worked ok at first, but soon Wifi started losing connection and not showing available networks.
Tried all sorts of fixes, upgraded to 3.1.2 - but still the problem persisted.
Found posts on Apples forum about ppl solving this problem by downgradeing and erasing their baseband on 1.1.X and then upgradeing to 2.2.1.
So, I downgraded to 1.1.4, downgraded the baseband, erased baseband with ZiPhone (patched version suggested on iClarify), upgraded to 2.2.1 and unlocked with QuickPwn.
Still the problem persists and it is driving me crazy. It connects briefly to my WLAN after reboot, but loses the connection in seconds.
Does anyone have any tips helping me out? On 1.1.1 it was rock solid, and had a connection quality rivaling my laptop, so I can't imagine it's a hardware error.
Best regards,
Federico

Unfortunately - no. That's why I started this thread - I still have the same problem. Connects monetarily, then disconnects.
Could it be another problem all together that is causing this? I also have very short battery life - even on 2.2.1.
