I can't put this 2G on DFU mode. It keeps power cycling with the Apple logo
and it doesn't stop. Sometimes it *looks* like it went into DFU mode but iTunes doesn't recognize it, even then.

I tried using a C:\DFU software hack. Nothing.
I have tried putting this phone in DFU 1,000 times, and i just
jailbroke a 3G so I know how to do it.
I read something about editing the SSH but the computer
doesn't even know the iphone is plugged in. There is ZERO physical damage
to the phone, so the phone itself is not going into DFU because of some form of software error.

Occasionally, the phone instead of flashing will display the Apple splash and
will look like its gonna boot up, but it will stay like this forever, show a
status bar, and boot again. It does this indefinitely.

Also, if I unplug it while its doing this the phone will power off, and then cycle
back into power again.

Also, the phone occasionally used to boot before and sorta work fine but as
soon as I put a sim card in there the phone will start making weird noises,
get hot and the battery will drain in a matter of minutes.


ALSO, if I plug in a Firewire iPod cable to the iPhone it turns either completely white, or pink or blue in color on the screen. Im telling ya, its fucked to hell.

I think it's a coincidence that your problem occurred around the same time as installing the theme.

It's extremely unlikely that a theme could have caused all of the problems that you described.
