Openiboot + 3.0
Soo has anyone gotten brave to see if the current openiboot works with 3.0?
Get the latest info for NoAccSplash
Here
Currently it should work on iOS 4.x - 6.x

If you'd like to help extend its functionality, the source is also available.

I tried loading it and loadibec looks like it's sending stuff but it never actually executes on the phone.
I'm guessing there may be a problem with iBoot in 3.0 not letting openiboot start?
I tried on both a 3G iPhone and an original iPhone.

Issues with installing openiboot ....
The problem may bee that your iPhone is not jailbroken. I have succeeded in getting openiboot to load into the 3G; however, under certain limitations.
Things to remember: sudo ./loadibec imagename
iPhone 3G Radio for openiboot causes issues booting( Head over to the github repository as there is already a hack around it. )
REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR norbackup.dump file, and make sure there is stuff in it, as that will be your original bootloader.
BTW, i haven't installed it to the hardware itself as i'm not that brave atm. lol.
And keep this post in mind too:

i've been trying to use iRan to up the WTF and iBSS files but it doesn't appear to work (get loads of errors in my syslog about how the application didnt claim the usb device before starting) and it just sits there.
despite being in dfu mode, irecovery also claims there's no iphone attached. starting to get worried that i may have properly bricked it :|
anyone taken this any further and got any ideas?
thanks in advance
