Hi, I have an iphone 3GS and want to jailbreak it. I ran the blackrain program but it did not work. It went through the steps and I thought it was done but the phone was still in its current state. Do I have to do a restore to factory settings first? I have the modem firmware 04.26.08, I have the version 3.0.1 and I didn't upgrade to 3.1.1. If I were to restore to factory settings Itunes wants to install the latest updates. Should I let that happen? Also should I remove the sim card first or just leave it in?
