Please, help! iPhone dead?
I pwned my iPhone (original) last week. Then, my brother asked for it, so I decided to delete all my data. So I went to the GENERAL menu and selected erase all data and settings. Well, not being an advanced user of jailbreaking or any of those cool things, I went ahead and click on DELETE all data. First the Apple showed up, then the pineapple from the Pwnage tool. I waited for two hours. Nothing. Now, the phone does not start at all! All I see is the pineapple. Nothing happens. I think I broke it. I
am in need of help.
Is my iPhone dead? Is there a way to do some type of reset to put it back to a point where it can go back to normal? I did the deep reset where you have to hold the two buttons, but that didn't work, either. My iMac won't even noticed it's connected to it.
If you can shed some light on this issue, I shall be eternally grateful.
Thanks!

Profe,
I had the same experience today with my iphone 3GS using 3.1.3 It was jailbroken using Spirit and was running perfectly. Then I made the mistake of attempting to download a unlock using ultrasnow. This put my phone into an eternal search mode looking for service. So I did exactly what you did. I went into settings adn Deleted all data. The Apple logo shows up and will not clear. I have attempted to restart using the home button and then pressing the on/off. It just reloads the Apple logo. Have you been given any help?
