Hello I shipped the i-Smartphone this morning, please expect it to arrive to Germany in about 4 days.

DO NOT UPDATE to 2.2 YET.

I have spoke to engineers working for i-Smartphone in Shenzhen and they are developing a new sim unlock solution for the 2.2's upgraded baseband. Expect developments SHORTLY!

If you are on 2.1, remember you can use software to update to 2.2 CUSTOMISED without the baseband upgrade. Please message me if you require assistance,

hey thanks Linh received it in Canada after 4 days, works a treat on 2.1, now on 2.2 special unlocked! 3G is running good! calls havn't dropped and everything smooth, A+++

Hello Zoran, just packaged it up and will ship first thing tomorrow morning. It should arrive in 3-5 days.

Please may I remind you to NOT USE QUICKPWN as it updates baseband... I am currently uploading a customised 2.2 firmware which retains the baseband from 2.1 and can therefore be unlocked using i-Smartphone sim (props to Pwnagetool).

Brought the i-smartphone device from (I gun 4 fun)
All seems to work ok only problem I am finding is i occ lose the 3G and need to either reboot or just slide the sim out slightly and all is ok agn.
My 3G was on 2.02 when brought O2 PAYG and i upgraded and jailbreak to 2.1 using quickpwn 2.2.1 used the sim adaptor and all is well.
I am now waiting to see if I can upgrade to 2.2 still using the i smartphone solution and what program i will need to use. I have a Mac Mini that I have upgraded 2.1 Dual Core 2Gig Mem 320 gig HD and also a pc but would rather use the pc.So at the end of the day all I can say is the sim solution works and the seller is there to help you out if needed Many thanks all

for Mac, I suggest you go to iClarified and follow the instructions which use Pwnagetool to create a custom 2.2 firmware.

I have done it and i-Smartphone runs extremely smooth with 2.2 (custom, downgraded baseband) and all the functions are still perfect. If you encounter problems, remember I will do anything I can to help!

I was wondering what settings you entered in order for Orange UK's 3G to work?
