    Default view application's SQL Database?

    Hi,

I am completely new to this topic.
I want to write some application that stores information in a database.
I downloaded a showcase that stored some data of books (title, author, date).
now I am slowly extending this showcase. the screens are good but the app crashes when I wanted to save.

is it possilble to access the sql db in the simulator with some kind of viewer?

    anyone?

My app works but somehow the values are not stored.
So I still would like to double check the Database via debug or something like that

The applications compiled for the simulator are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/User/Applications/

Inside the underlying directories you'll find the homedir for the application.

You can browse your sqlite3 database with http://sqlitebrowser.sourceforge.net/ for example.

If you don't find anything fishy, try running a step-by-step debug, tracking down the exact line of code that causes the problem. Most problems I've had, was solved by looking at the returned integer from the SQL command.

And remember, when binding the values to your statement - the first bind is 1, not 0.

    Good luck..
