    Default [UIKit 2.0 firmware] application suspend

    hi all,

    in the past i've used this to prevent my application from being killed on suspend, but it's no longer working on the 2.0 firmware:

    Code:
    - (void)applicationSuspend:(struct GSEvent *)evt{
    }
    - (BOOL)suspendRemainInMemory{
    	return YES;
    }
    is there a special way to get UIKit to use this override? i'm using the standard UIKit framework that comes with the sdk.

    You can look at NES app source code, as it is able to run in background perfectly on 2.0

    cool, but where's the latest source? the source at http://code.google.com/p/iphonenes/ doesn't seem to have anything relating to preventing suspension...

    there was a link on this forum somewhere, but a search for "nes" returns nothing and going through the few threads i know i don't see it.

    well, he's using the same override i'm using, so i'm guessing the open toolchain supports it but the official sdk doesn't?
