so I want to know if just by putting my newly created app in itunes will work,

also I saw this in the mac Ios documentation
" Although the SDK provides the software you need to write applications, Xcode and Instruments also let you interact directly with an attached device to run and debug your code on the target hardware. Development on an actual device requires signing up for Apple’s paid iOS Developer Program and configuring a device for development purposes "

do I have to pay to test in my hardware? or just download in Itunes?
