Default [Quicktime] Customized player embedded in web page

    Hi all,
I'm new to Iphone developing, I just would like to know if it's feasible to build
a customized video player embedded in a Web app.
I know YouTube has its own player, I would like to create a customized version of the quicktime plug-in in order to have custom progress bar and a feed back for the playing time.
Can you suggest me where to start from?
    Thanks a lot in advance

Quick answer - no. All QT movies opens the iPhone's integrated player.
