Hi all,

Took sample app from "iPhone open application development" book.
Then, using cydia, installed Iphone toolchain 2.0 on my device.
Using WinScp, transfered directory with app files to device.
Successfully compiled project using "make" command.
Moved the <AppName>.app directory that was made by the "make" command to /Applications folder on my iphone, restarted springboard by typing killall SpringBoard.
No icon appears on desktop.

Any help please?

Tried to copy <AppName>.app folder to /private/var/stash/Applications.YA3tnk didnt help.

The location /Applications/[Your app name].app was ok.
Install BossPrefs from Cydia if you haven't done it.

Type:
/Applications/BossPrefs.app/Respring

You should see the icon now.
