Linux Development Environment?
I have searched for a few weeks on this topic and haven't found a definitive answer.
I have no mac. I program in C and C++. My iPhone is running 3.1.2. I can not find a guide on creating / building a linux or windows development environment.
Does anyone know of a guide that will get me from code to a cute little icon on my iPhone? If you do not know of a guide any useful links pointing me in a good direction would be much appreciated.
Thank you for your time
make a hackint0sh or compile directly on the iPhone.
The reason for only supporting development on mac is that you really do need to program at least the skeleton of an iPhone app in Objective C. All the APIs are only available via Objective C.
The only exception is if you want to make a command line program that runs from Mobile Terminal.

I appreciate your quick reply. I'll have to load OS X into a VM then. There seem to be plenty of guides on this subject. Also a quick search has shown me that calling C functions in objective C is straightforward.
