Default [iPhone SDK] Fun with the Aspen Simulator (Check this out!)

    /Developer/Platforms/AspenSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/AspenSimulator1.2.sdk
That is the filesystem of it, for future reference. While I am at it, it also contains the filesystem of firmware 1.2:
    /Developer/Platforms/Aspen.platform/Developer/SDKs/Aspen1.2.sdk

    Anyway, check these out...

    HOW TO REPLICATE THIS

    1. Grab my Extended Preferences Hack here

    2. Go to /Developer/Platforms/AspenSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/AspenSimulator1.2.sdk/Applications/Preferences.app/ on your computer

    3. Put the Extended Preferences Hack files into the directory I just told you to go to above EXCEPT FOR GENERAL.PLIST!

    4. Change General-iPhone.plist (the one that is already in the directory, or maybe they called it General.plist, I forgot which) to General-Simulator.plist, overwriting the old one. Do the same thing with Settings-iPhone.plist, change it to Settings-Simulator.plist

    5. Open Aspen Simulator and enjoy!

It would be even more fun to see this in DFU mode, or Restore mode. I've been trying to find a way to do it... see if it works...

It's probably possible, but you would need an application to do it.
