I wonder if you can help me, currently I’m recruiting for a client in London that require an IPhone apps developer on a permanent basis paying £40 - £50k, we are struggling to find good quality people so I’m turning to the community for help. The job is outlined bellow

JOB PURPOSE:

My client is looking for an iPhone developer with a strong interest in the mobile applications space to add to their Digital Team. Primary focus is on the Apple iOS platform but Android and any other mobile platform experience would extremely useful.

The position could suit someone looking to develop their existing iOS skills into a fully fledged developer role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• iOS application development for their product, part of the award-winning Digital team
• Testing, analysis, maintenance and fix of existing app(s)
• Set-up and management of automated test suites and utilities
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and application domains
• Ability to work individually or in a team to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

REQUIREMENTS:

• Background / knowledge of iPhone and iPad native application development
• Experience with Objective-C and good understanding of iPhone SDK
• General knowledge of basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
• Experience with Javascript, JSON and similar technologies
• Experience integrating iPhone and iPad applications with server side APIs (Primarily JSON payloads)
• Experience and understanding of GPS/Location API’s as well as push technologies
• Photoshop and experience in working with graphics a plus
• Java development a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mac development experience using Cocoa/Objective-C
• Ability to develop against a variety of web architectures and services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, etc.)
• Knowledge of a scripting language a plus (Ruby, Perl, Python, BASH, etc)
• Experience managing projects in an SVN and JIRA environment
• Android/J2ME/Blackberry development experience a plus
