iPhone 3.1.2 ldid crash
I'm trying to get my iPhone app running on the iPhone, but am stuck at the signing part of every single tutorial I find. I have ldid on the phone, but end up with the following when I try to create a signature:
/usr/bin/codesign_allocate: object: /Applications/MyApp.app/Myapp malformed object (unknown load command 4)
util/ldid.cpp (582): assert(0:STATUS(status) == 0)
I tried using ldid on the mac (ideneb vm) and all I get is "permission denied". Searching google to solve that turned up nothing. Trying to find a download for a new version of ldid that does work on a mac turn up crap for "did" instead. Since I am on an intel based system, I tried searching for "ldid intel" and ended up with "intel did" instead.
I ran into a post that said to export CODESIGN_ALLOCATE, which of course didn't work. I got the same error.
I need the code signed some how, and people are getting their coded signed for 3.1.2 using ldid. How do i get my code signed by either fixing the above problems, or using a tutorial that actually works? I have been bull shitting around with this for 2 days now.
