I've tried all the articles on the net, even apple's about landscape mode. All the threads say to try this and that, or that it will give a warning error but it doesn't work properly. I know plenty of SDK apps that stay in landscape.

I want to ignore the accelerometer and, launch in landscape, and continue to stay in it.

Any suggestions on how to do this with the official SDK?

can you have your viewcontroller implement this method and handle the event however you want?
