    Default [Firmware][Solution] Downgrade from 2.0 to 1.1.4

If you "accidentally" restored your iPhone to 2.0 THIS is how to get firmware 1.1.4 again on your iPhone:

You MUST have an earlier version of iTunes than 7.7 to do this - I used version 7.6.2 (the one before 7.7).

Put the iPhone i DFU mode and restore to 1.1.4.
iTunes say error 1015 of course as iTunes can't downgrade the baseband.

iBrickr couldn't kick iPhone out of restore mode, so I restored to firmware 1.1.4 one more time, THIS time with regular restore mode. Once again error 1015 in iTunes.

NOW iBrickr was able to kick iPhone out of restore mode.

Then I used "ZiPhoneGUI - patched by kIREmK" to downgrade the baseband.

Restored (regular restore this time) to 1.1.4 again (using iTunes 7.6.2).

Used iBrickr to kick iPhone out of restore mode.

Then using PwnageTool 1.1 to put my own custom firmware 1.1.4 on the iPhone.

    WORKING....
    iMac 24" * MacBook Pro 17" * iPod Classic 160Gb * iPhone 8Gb * iPhone 16Gb

it was the fact that I was using my laptop, and hadnt ever had the drivers for 2.0 DFU mode on it, solution is to download 7.7, then reinstall 7.5

What if you get the 1601 error? I get 1601 error under Windows iTunes, and 1602 error under OS X iTunes when trying to restore.

EDIT: Ok finally got past the 1601/1602 error and got the expected 1015 error... Disregard

For 1604 error, remove simcard. Detach USB cable. Restart computer. Plug USB back in. Restore without simcard. You will get error 1015. Restore one more time. 1015 again. But it will work this time with Winpwn or Pwntool even in recovery mode. Remember that every restore must be in DFU mode.
