Are you saying you downgraded back without leaving 7.7?

Yea thats what I am saying.

However, slevytam and I spent a majority of the night last night figuring out the downgrade. We posted a tutorial over at iClarified.com but it turned out you HAVE TO downgrade to 7.6 or 7.5.

What I mean to say was, I had 7.7 pre-release and with that version you did not have to downgrade..

me and my friend both screwed up

    4) Once you get error above, leave iTunes open and kick your phone out of restore mode. I recommend just loading winpwn(PC) or pwnage(MAC) and pwning the device at this point. If pwnage fails to work, you need to restore your phone again. You should be able to use normal restore mode, however. Other ways to kick out of restore mode may be ibrickr, jailbreak 1.1.2 (boot phone), iLiberty+.
after step 4 how should i install bootneuter and unlock?

my friend tried using ziphone and jailbroke and activated and when he ran bootneuter he got error #5

There are 3 guides like this! Either they need to be merged or some need to be closed. This is a good guide but please dont post when there are alrady some in existence...

And I updated because I can just downgrade if I need to, its not a big deal. I wanted the App Store now I got it. And its great. So when PWNAGE 2.0 is released I will jailbreak, I dont know why everyone is making a big deal...
