[Firmware] 2.0 Beta > plist for Exchange-Folders and Preferences?
Hi there,
i have just found two little problems using the 5A225 and 5A240 with our Exchange Server 2003
1. Invalid certificate. This was no problem with 5A225, but in 5A240, there's no posibility to get ActiveSync working with a Exchange Server which has no valid Certificate. (I found a workaround with restoring the 5A225 settings after updating the iPhone works for that).
2. German foldernames. The folders on a German Exchange Server are called different (e.G. Posteingang not INBOX)... This folder is show in the iPhone-mail.app but not as the "real" Inbox but as a normal folder. This means that I always have to go to the folder-tree and select my inboy manually.
Does anybody know if there are preference-files (plist) which contain the settings to change both behaviors?
Thanks in advance!

Well,
found the solution for the Certificate Problem. in
private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.apple.DataAccess.plist
There's the key
DAAccountsKey/Item X/ASContextConfiguration/ASAccountAllowAnyRootCert
Set it to "true" and it works...

I don't have the com.apple.DataAccess.plist on my 5a240d - Is that where the file should be? Exchange sync is the whole reason I'm trying 2.0 out...
