So according to a thread in the PwnageTool forum, 5a345 has been confirmed as coming on the initial release of the 3G iPhones. I've been running it for about a week, but my camera doesn't work. I haven't had any luck downgrading it to 1.1.4 so I decided to wait till the official release. But if what I have is the same as what I'm waiting for, my camera probably isn't going to work.

When I take a picture and I go to the camera roll, I have a white box where the new picture should have been. I tap on it, and its just a black image. If I reboot my phone, it disappears from camera roll. Any ideas?

I've restored a number of times and nothing's different.

Well if it ends up being the real release, and assuming your phone is legit (likely since you're using beta 8), then contact Apple for support on your phone as it'll be under warranty.

My camera works on Beta8... I guess you've done a restore?
