    Default Developing for iPhone

Does anyone ever know if apple is going to come out with a windows version of their software? I'm a windows developer and Ive been interested in developing for the iPhone but I do not own an apple computer and do not feel like shelling out the 2 grand. Any information would be helpful to me, I feel like I may have some good applications to offer the iPhone community.

    Regards,
    Hax

If you want to put your apps on iTunes store then getting a Mac is rather inevitable in the long run.

Though you could consider building/modifying a Hackintosh PC to run MacOS. Do forum search regarding this topic.

Alternatively you could try running MacOS in VMware [64bit XP/Vista and Intel CPU is recommended). Again forum search is your first choice

Finally for now you could play around with open toolchain which allows you to compile natively on the iphone itself. Still you won't have any support of IDE[XCode] and no iphone-simulator.
