Does anyone else get this? I have set up my provisioning profile and made the two certficates. The only thing I do not get is the directions in the Dev Portal said to double click the apple cert, which was fine and imported to keychain access without a problem. Then it said to double click the other one, the CSR, and for some reason, it opens Certificate Assistant and asked if it is a self-signed CA, a root CA, etc. There are no instructions in the Developer Portal on what to choose for this. Does anyone know?

The 2 certs I double clicked were the Apple Worldwide and the developer one for me. Both went straight into the keychain no probs. The other file, doesn't that just need to be placed in a certain directory?

I had an EXC_BAD_ACCESS error upon starting my apps with an earlier beta. It turned out that I installed a new beta on top of an earlier beta so xcode got really confused and was creating applications for the device with a mix and match set of frameworks. The apps would run in the simulator, but would crash with EXC_BAD_ACCESS upon launch on the device. Uninstalling everything and reinstalling seemed to fix the problem.

Was your uninstall simply with the uninstall script --mode=all?

It's been a while since I had the problem, but I think I used these instructions that I got from a post in the Apple Developer Forums to perform the uninstall / reinstall

Code:

1. cd /Developer/Library
2. sudo ./uninstall-devtools --mode=all
3. reboot
4. click iPhone SDK dmg to start installation
