    Default Application launch notifications

Hello all! After a week of non-stop development for iphone, I feel much more comfortable with all this stuff.

I'm trying now to develop an app that gets notified when an application launches. This is because I want to perform some actions after the user starts an app, but before the app start.

Is this possible with the regular iphone sdk? and with the toolchain?

    Thanks!

    Default Woops!

Sorry, I'd must miss explained myself.

Basically, I want to create a background process that gets notified when the user launches an application in order to perform some tasks in my application before the other app starts.

    Hope I've explained myself.

it is not possible with the original SDK, because iphone allows only one app running at a time...

with toolchain? its good question. I'm pretty sure it's not supported by the original frameworks, so you MUST HACK out this feature. I'm not sure it is possible at all. But if you succeed please drop a line.

You can easily do that with MobileSubstrate.
look for Backgrounder Source on code.google.com and look at its source. you will see an example there.
