app via cydia requires chmod modifications
hi guys,
we are testing an app within our team and so we seeded it via cydia, because it seemed to be the easiest and fastest way to distribute an app in alpha around several team members with jailbroken phones.
however, whenver we update the app or want to install it on another iphone it requires us to change chmod settings to 777 for all files within the app via ssh.
does anybody know why this could be and if there's any solution?
thanks
lukas

Cydia sounds an interesting choice for this type of alpha testing.
Why wouldn't you just build the application, FTP to your device, codesign with ldid, copy the application back to computer, zip and distribute via email to the team?
All the other people would need to do is just FTP and drop the app in the Applications folder and reboot the device.
No chmoding required.
