Hello dear contributors,

I am stuck with the following problem:

Even my simplest test application won't start on my iPod touch (1.1.4). In the simulator and on a friend's developer iPhone all just works fine. I am performing those steps:

1. Build iPhone Release code
2. Transfer the resulting .app package via AFP right into the iPod's Application folder.
3. Restart the springboard.
4. My app apears on the springboard.
5. When clicking the app its icon will zoom to fullscreen. Then the app hangs. After a few seconds the process is killed by the OS.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I bet it's something really stupid... :p

Did you change to permissions for the files?

The group has to be wheel, owner has to be root, chmod 755.

Could you find any errors from debugger when the application starts?

If that program compiled and worked on simulator and developer iPhone then it will not work on 1.1.4 firmware.
