Default [Advice] Some Dev Tools for Mac Needed.

    Hi,

I was using a Windows machine for a long time and have shifted to a Mac now. So I need some alternatives...

    1. MD5 Checksum Finder
    2. XML Editor (With Simple to use interface) - Like XML Notepad
    3. HEX Editor

    Thanks a lot.

I use the application Terminal on my Mac, just type
    md5
, a blank after that and then drag the file into the Terminal I want to get the md5 of. Hit return and I have it.

Most xml files I deal with on the iPhone are plist files, there is a programm called PlistEditor from Apple that does a ggod job on that. Its on the system dvd. there is a section called "developer", you'll find it in there

my favourite hex editor on the Mac is HexEdit http://hexedit.sourceforge.net/index.en.html

    hope that helps,
