Big problem I am having so far is that if I switch from wifi to edge or vice versa, I have to reboot the phone for the mail to push.

Depends on your exchange server. I had no problems what so ever, but some people had to go a roundabout way to "accept all certificates". There are plenty of posts referencing how to do it if you find out you need it.

Exchange push is non-existent today. Manual syncing works fine, but no messages are being received via push.
    Battery life/usage is consistent, however.

are you on beta 4 (5A258f)? There is no provision for accepting all certificates and I have not been able to find any posts that talk about how to do this - can you point us in the right direction?

Battery problem should be solved for the most part on Beta 4.
In my case I no longer have no issues with WiFi staying on while the phone was asleep.

Push mail on Exchange was working for me on beta 3 and now on beta 4, just that on beta 3 it was crashing more often than on beta 4.

If you find that push is no longer working, power cycle the unit.
Also make sure you leave MobileMail at the accounts page (where it lists your different email accounts you've set up) and you home out to the springboard before you sleep the phone. I've found that if I forget it in the inbox of another account and you home out, it will most likely not work.

My exchange push works fine over EDGE on Beta 3. Don't have Beta 4 yet. Check the post for Beta 3 "accept all certificates" I believe it has something to do with editing plist files now since beta 1.2 or the first 2 when they took that prompt out.

Funny thing is that beta 4 was leaked before you even posted that. Check the bay my friend.

Cool. Found it. Hope it's true that it doesn't need to be pwoned to use. Of course, that may not be an issue if this thing doesn't start downloading!! :p
