iphone 4s nothing shows up on screen/wont restore WITH LOGS

hi first timer here i recently bought an iphone 4s off kijiji the guy said it just needed a new screen i stupidly bought it and found out its much worse then that when i try and turn it on it wont do anything when i try and restore through itunes i get 1601 error and when i try and use redsnow i get either dfu mode or soft dfu mode but nothing will work there still ive been trying everything ireb,ibooty,snowbreeze,ifunbox wont get in im now lost i dont know what ios is on it and i cant get into normal mode to jailbreak it any help is greatly appreciated

My guess is that it's a hardware error with the USB host on the logic board, because if it was anything else, what you tried would have fixed it. If you have connectivity problems when the phone is booted normally and you cannot boot to recovery mode (not DFU), AND you're not trying to restore a custom firmware (it doesn't appear you are, but you didn't specify), then it's likely that the phone needs a new logic board.

Here's what you can try if you haven't, but I assume you already have:

1) Of course, try the restore in DFU mode. Pwned DFU mode will not help you here, it's only useful when you're restoring a custom firmware with SHSH or a stitched custom firmware. You should not be attempting either right now. You should be trying to restore to a stock 6.1 or 6.1.1, since both can be jailbroken with evasi0n.
2) Try the restore in recovery mode if the phone will boot to recovery mode and be seen by iTunes.
3) Try another computer, another USB port, and another cable. I don't hold much hope of any of those working but you should always try.

If none of that works, it is likely that there is either a problem with the USB host. The log indicates that the phone is connecting and sending and receiving data from iTunes, however, it seems to disconnect before actually beginning the restore.

ive tried all the above mentioned solutions and have tried restoring threw itunes close to 100x with getting to the same part so im now done?

is there anything i can do to fix the usb host problem?

ive kinda took this phone on as a little project money isnt the issue i would just like to learn alot about the phone and usb host is something im not very familiar with but maybe i can try and post my results for others to see and learn from losing the iphone wouldent be that big of a hit because i already have an iphone 5 and i really just wanted the iphone for my little sister (who i got one for already)

My understanding is that the USB Host chipset is a part of the main logic board. I don't believe it would be easy to replace just that chip without some specific tools you may not have already, the best bet would probably be to buy a replacement logic board and replace the entire thing.

That said, I'm only so good at hardware hacking and troubleshooting -- you may take it to an Apple repair center (one of the local ones, not one of the certified/genius ones, their repairs are usually just replacements or swapouts) and have the people there take a look. They could be more familiar with this specific issue and know of a better and cheaper fix.

ive taken it to about 3 repair shops now and they all dont even look at the device once i tell them whats going on (2 of the 3 guys looked at me like i was talking jibberish) and the third guy openly said "it sounds like you know more about fixing iphones then i do want a job?" so my local repair shops have done absolutly no good

i did goto an apple genius bar aswell yesterday they opend the back and said its been tamperd with so they cant do anything for me so right now im stuck with this iphone

i do have some tools for repairing logic boards (not much) but i have successfully replaced an iphone 4 baseband chip to get 1.59.00 unloackable baseband i by no means a pro and dont claim to be but right now i got nothing to lose and this iphone has been my focus now for over a week

i have done logic/mainboard modding for a while ive made handheld n64s and segas threw hardware modding and that takes quite a bit of focus so i think im up for the job im going to start my research now and ill get back to the topic with my findings
