iPhone 4s Cannot Start
Hi to all.
I have download a .deb file for mywi5.0 for my iphone 4s and have put it in cydia/autoinstall folder. I have rebooted my phone and started but the mywii was not installed on the phone.
I went on cydia again and decided to by mywi 5.0 for my iphone 4s. I bought it successfully and run the application. When i was on the application the iphone freezed and had to restart it.
My problem now is that the iphone starts goes through the apple logo than after a while it start the little cycle circle than restarts again in the apple logo thus it is freezing.
Can this be because of the deb file i left in the autoinstall folder of cydia or that mywii crashed my phone.
How can i fix this problem without having to fresh re install the ios on my phone?
Please help me out im going crazy :////
Thanks & Regards
This is probably because of the cracked .deb. We cannot stress enough that piracy on these devices is bad. Not only are you stealing from other people who frequent these forums and who deserve payment for their work if you're using the app, but you will find that it just doesn't work well. Many 'cracked' packages include viruses or other malware that steals information from your phone and transmits it elsewhere. They've already found multiple cracked .deb packages that insert network profiles that funnel all data through a third party proxy server, meaning that someone could record any data that goes out of the phone.
In any case, I'm glad you decided to buy the app afterwards. It's also worth mention that the discussion of piracy on these forums is prohibited. Do not discuss stolen applications again.
With regard to your actual issue now, did you install SSH prior to installing MyWi? You may be able to access the device over SSH and remove the package with dpkg. If you can get access to the root filesystem, find the MyWi folder and delete it entirely and reboot the phone. That should help get to a point where you can remove the package from Cydia.
