Angry Fix unknown problem with 4s

Hello everyone, I've been browsing the forums here for a couple of weeks now trying to find any way to fix my 4s so I figured I would see if anyone out there can help me out.

So I have a 4s with 5.1.1 installed, it was jail broken using absinthe as soon as it was released, and never had any problem. At this point I have had the phone for 5 months with no problems. . A few weeks ago, the phone worked perfectly, I plugged the phone in to charge and went to bed. Well, when I woke up the phone was off, and wouldn't turn so I attempted to plug it into the PC and recover it, and for whatever unknown reason I was unable to recover.

So i attempted putting the phone into DFU, which iTunes recognized and allowed me to try and recover the device. While it was going through the process of restoring the phone, it stopped and gave me an error (I don't recall what the error # was) So I decided to try again, but I ran into a snag. The phone would NOT go back into dfu. So I tried repeatedly to get it into DFU, and 2 out of 10 times I got it. But both times after I started the recovery it was unexpectedly stopped and iTunes failed to see the device anymore and continued to do so. I have also taken the phone to Apple, they also COULD NOT get it into recovery or even get iTunes to recognize it, but I couldn't get it replaced because a couple of months into owning the phone I had to have the screen replaced and warranty was voided (The first thing the Genius Bar noticed is that the screen was an 'off white' so it was the wrong color. And I was unaware that Apple would replace the phone for a shattered screen.. At least that is what the guy at Genius Bar told me, though in the past they told me they wouldn't do it)

So here I am, 4s, 100% NO water damage. Will not turn on, NO pc in my house or at the genius bar for that matter will recognize it, even when trying to put it in DFU mode. Any help would be appreciated, I've been assuming that maybe it was a hardware failure.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I really hope someone can help me out here and nearly willing to do anything to get this thing working again. Thank you again.

    Hi Jason
    sorry buddy for ur loss
but let me tell u this
i had the same situation after replacing the iPhone screen
iPhone is dead, & not responding & i figured out that the person that changed the screen was the reason
so my advice to u, go back to that person & ask him to check the power circuit Block.
