i bought my iphone3G in singapore , now i am going to india , so in order to make this iphone working what should i do??? jailbreak or what??

Many singapore iPhones are officially unlocked. How much did you pay for it?

Also, do NOT load iOS 4.1 on the iPhone at all, especially if you need to use ultrasn0w to unofficially unlock. It is not possible to downgrade the radio baseband once it has been upgraded to iOS 4.1 level.

There is no iOS3.2 for the iPhone

Do you mean 3.1.2?

You didn't answer my original questions - did you pay an outright price for the iPhone (approx US$800-900) or a lower subsidised price and you are on a 1 or 2 year contract?
