I have heard around in many sites (for example, Unlock iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G on BaseBand 5.14.02 and 2.10.4) that there might be a new unlock. I mean, this would be great news, because I have been hearing that my iPhone would be an iBrick until next year.
What you guys think about this?

Sceptical... baseband exploits are rare and easy for apple to block in a minor iOS update. There is a huge amount of tactical value in releasing baseband exploits only for major iOS versions (3.0, 4.0, 5.0)
