UK Unlocked?
Hey there, i got an iPhone from the Apple shop they never told me what network it was unlocked so i assumed it was any network to the UK. So i restored my iPhone to 4.2.1 by jailbreaking when i put my O2 simcard in it just gives no signal i was wondering why is that? I've checked the model number and its MC603B, i've been told thats a UK model, i've also checked the IMEI was not barred which it wasn't. So by logic my O2 sim card should work? or am i was missing something here? my baseband is also 3.10.01 so if anyone can share so light that does not require me to go back to that Apple shop that would be great, thanks.

If you purchased the iphone from Apple UK directly then it should be a factory unlocked device. After you restore in itunes the phone should officially activate within itunes will show the device as activated, does this happen for you?

No i went down to Apple and got this iPhone myself lol, i've decided to try and restore it back to factory setting but i keep getting an error code of 1013 and 3194. =/

1013 and 3194 means you are restoring to a previous firmware version without SHSH ....
what firmware are you restoring to ?

Try doing a 4.2.1 restore with TinyUmbrella pointing at the apple server, i.e deselect the option in the advance tab
"Set Host to Cydia on Exit (If you need a clean restore from apple uncheck this box)

I get this message in tinyumbrella, could that be a reason?
